El elevado contenido en chamota le proporciona un excelente comportamiento durante el secado y la cocción. Su particular color blanco marfil en cocción es muy apreciado y proporciona la base excelente para el desarrollo del color en esmaltes y óxidos colorantes, y favorece el crecimiento de cristalizaciones en esmaltes.
